“spring break” is right around the corner and people are flying to the computer to book their fabulous vacations! this year my cousin Nicole and I decided to venture down to Mexico (once we got over Nicole’s anxieties of having her period, being bloated on such&such dates, having homework, not wanting to lug her laptop, wanting to avoid layovers, panicking bout the drive to JFK and as soon as she finally gave me her credit card to book it…. my Internet went down.. so she squeezed in a few extra moments of anxiety….)

i swear.. when I was running @ the gym… I could feeeel the sand in my toes.. i could see in the distance my cousin Nicole frolicking on the beach topless… i could hear a hottie say to me ”hey.. can I be your vacation boyfriend and look sexy for you, wine & dine you and just have a fun ass time w/ you” hahahaha…

on my wish list is a sexy one-piece swim suit. i’ve been wearing bikinis ever since I can remember (besides a lil phase when I actually thought it was cool to wear speedos and boxers) and I got to thinking… it’s sorta sexy not to have it all exposed every so often. I know i’m sexy and I’m sure it will exude through a one peice. One does not need to wear a slinky bikini to feel and look sexy…… (haha don’t get me wrong.. i love to, even a thong on occasions, but it is not the only option for the beach!)

you write in your planner for a reason. LOOK IN IT!
save your money. you made a deal w/ yourself. if you save… you can go on vacation. & remember how much you love that!
plan your meals. remember you are on a diet.
you are going to the gym YIPPEE !! but still… go to the gym! you look and feel better. REMEMBER THAT!
FILL YOUR TANK!! You like to take chances, YES. But another run in w/ AAA is just not worth it. plus, it’s to cold out. it’s not good for your car.

appreciate your wonderful friends and remind them how much you need them.

back from miami……. back to reality…. back to myself.

here are a few of my fav shots from the weekend. boy o boy what a GREAT lil getaway! fell in love w/ south beach. not for the glitz and glam, cause we did have a pretty low key weekend, but for Espanola Way, wine @ Lincoln Road, Collins Ave, an unpacked Nikki Beach, the bay, the beach, THE BAY, the DJ in the Adidas store, the doggie water bowls on the street, the mix of cultures, the French Crepes dinner, and Ocean Drive. O & let’s not forget the sexy feel Miami has…..

it was a celebration

this weekend ranked pretty high on the “I have so many parties to go to and NOTHING to wear” but that is besides the point. it was my “BFFs” birthday this weekend and what a night!!

first we dined at Blue Water Grill. It was delicious…. they had this calamari dish that was drenched in some chili type sauce.. so good! The service was perfect as we ate dessert on the house and an entire bottle of champagn to celebrate! I would def say this would be a great date selection. The live jazz band was fun and the ambience is slightly romantic. Nothing over the top.

KISS AND FLY

o goodness. where do I even begin with this place. I am going to say it is a COMPLETE bite off of Pink Elephant. Now the front door “men” were terrible. They actually denied groups and groups of beautiful women.. why you ask???? I’m gonna guess you needed a passport identification to get in. And this is one crowd that might actually get the reference: young, rich, and overwhelmingly European. VERY upity up. BUT i will say it was different. The music was the type to get real inside you. LOUD. and the live saxophone man made my night as he played along to the INTENSE house music.

did I mention I almost had an anxiety attack as we walked through the crowd RIGHT INTO an intense ice/fog winter storm in the middle of the dance floor. couldn’t breath. couldn’t see my hand in front of my face!!
